Verfilzt nochmal!

Na ja - ich bin ja EIGENTLICH nicht soo der grosse Filz-Freund - ich mag nicht so gern, wie Filz sich anfühlt, ich find, es irgendwie immer etwas siffig-dreckiges.

Diese Drops-Anleitung für einen gefilzten Topf-Untersetzer habe ich aber schon ziemlich lang in meiner Warteschlage - und entgegen meiner Planung hab ich dabei sogar was Neues gelernt - Rückwärts stricken!

Das Ding besteht nämlich zu fast 80% auf Noppen, und wenn frau für die 5 Maschen immer das Strickstück wenden muss, wird sie dumm im Kopf. Ich hab mir also bei knittinghelp.com das passende Video angeguckt - und ich hab's geblickt und jetzt kann ich es! Hah! So eine neue Technik zu lernen macht mich immer stolz wie Bolle! Gestrickt is es fertig, jetzt muss ich es nur noch verfilzen. Verwendet hab ich Lana Grossa Feltrino, und da die Originalanleitung für die dickere Drops Eskimo geschrieben ist, doppelfädig.

Felted Bobbles and new techniques
Hm. Those bobbles take FOREVER to make. But I have absolutely no idea what to make for the swaps I am participating in…
Hah! Hurray and Thanks to Ravelry! After looking at the “helpful notes” in the FOs, I saw that learning to knit backwards would be helpfull to speed up the bobbles - so I found this video on how-to-knit-backwards-when-you-hold-the-yarn-in-your left-hand which is easy to understand for me and now I learned a new skill - knitting backwards! Extremly usefull if you turn in the middle of a row over a small number of stitches, as for Entrelac, Bobbles - and I might consider it for sockheels as well…
